This film tells the story of Ita Ekpenyon, a Nigerian air-raid warden in the St Marylebone area of London during World War II. The script is taken from his booklet 'Some Experiences of an African Air-Raid Warden'.

The film comprises archive footage c1940 (courtesy of the Family Keen), filmed by A.E. Reneson Coucher OBE), stills (courtesy of Winifred Ekpenyon and Westminster City Archives) and animation designed and animated by children and their parents working with Westminster City Archives and animator Tom Hillenbrand.
